he plays and coaches hockey. she couldn't care less about sports.

they met the first day of class at st. norbert's college years ago, and now they're getting married.

and so i took the hike up to de pere, wisconsin on a warm-yet-snowy january saturday, drank some coffee at luna cafe (which is where, s+j told me, the packers' wives hang out pre-game), helped johan clean a fair amount of spilled coffee out of his shirt, pinged inappropriate jokes back and forth with the groom while the bride laughed, and had a hell of a time.

and that is that. june cannot come soon enough and i am over the moon to be a part of these stellar human beings' wedding day.
