Tim and Chris are a delight. I’m sure you can tell that from the photos above. What else is there to say? I was honored to meet them and laugh with them and capture their love and their celebration.

Lindsy is the dope photographer behind the @hate4beachtowel Instagram account. She feels like a Banksy-of-sorts to me, creating beautiful art around our city, but remaining pretty darn anonymous. (Her Insta bio lists her name as “L.J.A.” — so mysterious!!) We got to know her after her incredible photography caught our eye and we started getting together for coffee or photo walks.
A few years later, she sent us a message on Instagram: “I’m getting married and want you guys to photograph it”!
While it was a rainy one, Lindsy and Mary’s day was filled with so many dear family and friends, and it was sweet to see how these two brides checked in with each other and cared for each other throughout it all. At the end of the day, we felt grateful to set the cameras down, grab a drink, and join our newly-married friends on the dance floor.
L+M, we are grateful to know you and to call you friends. What an honor to play such an important role in your beautiful day. We can’t wait to grab some Bear+Bottle tacos with y’all soon too. xo, L+B

Sarah worked at Circus World in the summers as a teenager. Now she is a silks performer in Brooklyn, New York. She taught Andrew’s sister arial arts. His sister then gave an incredible performance to start off the reception! Incredible lighting, dancing, and people made the celebration nothing short of a delight.

When they were children, Sarah and her best friend went down to Manchester Bridge in Baraboo and floated their wishes down the river. In August, she stood next to her childhood friend on that same bridge and married Andrew.
Sarah is from Wisconsin but she and Andrew live in Brooklyn, NY. They planned this beautiful celebration from afar and were surrounded by so many lovely people. Their wedding day was so unique that we’re going to take two whole blog posts to show you the whole thing! This is a special one.
Jen and I are childhood friends from Minnesota! When she moved to Madison, she was Googling for wedding photographers and was reminded that I live here now! We reconnected and she asked me to photograph her and Tyree’s day. She even asked Ben to be her witness and our friend Dominique (Wood Violet Events) to officiate!
When their date finally arrived, it was a rainy one and their first choice location of Picnic Point had to be nixed. Thinking fast, I asked my old studio mate Amanda of Alluring Blooms if we could use her studio for a little ceremony. We were so grateful she said yes!

Oh, Kaitlin and Oliver! What a dream your celebration was! A low-key, two-day, make-it-your-own party.
After ice cream with their pup Montag on Thursday, Kaitlin and Oliver said “I do” in a small, family-only ceremony officiated by Kaitlin’s brother at Aldo Leopold.
On Saturday, they threw a bigger bash at Majestic Theater, complete with a new jumpsuit for Kaitlin and a folk band (drummer none other than our groom Tim from a few years ago!).

Ooo-la-la, we love Haley & Dan! Their bright wedding took place in Haley’s childhood backyard, surrounded by beautiful floral and the fantastic energy of so many loved ones! Our friends at Darling Wedding Co. connected us with H+D and planned this STUNNING bash. Haley’s mom, Sara, welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like family.

What a goddamn delight Courtney and Kevin are!
No surprise as we are so lucky to have worked with them on TWO of our other clients’ wedding days: Courtney’s sister’s wedding (Stephanie+Johan) and her cousin’s wedding (Katie+Mitch).
These two smiled all day long, cuddled their pup Bogie, carved their initials into the custom arch Kevin built, and didn’t bat an eye climbing up on the rooftop beams at Pritzlaff!
