We enjoyed being a part of Ava and Tom’s beautiful celebration and are incredibly proud of the images we had the opportunity to make for them!
They made the most of the rain on their day and laughed through so many moments (like when Ava’s dad put on a wedding dress to surprise Tom during the first look!) surrounded by their sweet group of friends. The Persian traditions and dancing were simply a delight as well!

Kristin and Declan chose to get married on Kristin’s birthday. Declan’s family flew over from Europe and visited Madison for the first time. It was a beautiful day.
I met Katie at Stephanie+Johan’s wedding a few years ago (can you spot her in their blog post here?). It was such an honor when Katie reached out for her own upcoming wedding to Mitch and asked if we would photograph it! Ben and I had such a sweet time hanging with Katie and Mitch and their wedding party (and I even had an extra opportunity to dance with them all when I returned to my venue at midnight to retrieve my forgotten phone!).

Valerie and Chen strike me as kind, confident, genuine. After a very intimate wedding ceremony at the Wisconsin State Capitol, we were chauffeured around by a family friend to a few portrait locations of my choice (thank you for trusting me!), and then to Madison Club to welcome their family and friends to a larger celebration and dance party.
Maggie is a Chicago event planner by trade so it was such an honor to photograph her and Mitch’s beautiful weddingday! Favorite parts of their day include Rabbi Zedek allowing me to choose the setup for the Ketbuah signing (window light please!) and their darling sweetheart table setup at The Lagaret!
Despite the beautiful sun, it was freezing cold on Megan and Katie’s day! These lovebirds kept each other warm (mostly indoors) and celebrated by including their “Flower Grandmas” and coordinated bouquets in their day.
Rachel and Pat have hearts of gold and love each other immensely. Rachel is a graphic designer herself, so every visual detail was impeccable for their sweet emotional ceremony and rockin’ party.
I also had the honor of photographing R+P’s friends’ weddings.
Lindsay & Brandon (in the left photo) got married in Mexico in 2013. We’re still super effing fond of each other. (:
And on the right, I give you THREE(!!!!) of my lovely brides and two of their husbands (sorry to miss you, Tom!). Angie, on the far left, got married at Anodyne a few years ago, and I was so honored to photograph her wedding as well.
